COVID-19
Hygiene and Infection Control
STAGE 4 UPDATE
Final verdict is.........
The State Government has ruled that all Allied Health, including osteo, physio, chiro should only treat urgent cases that are likely to result in escalation of care without treatment. This means conditions which may result in you attending the emergency room, or prevent you from performing essential activities of daily living such as caring for children if you do not come and see us. This includes physical, mental and emotional well-being.
These measures are intended to reduce interaction and non-essential travel within the community.
This will rule out in-person appointments for the majority of patients.
If you are unsure if you fit this criteria, please call me to discuss it.
If you are deemed urgent we can have a face to face appointment, whilst following all relevant hygiene measures.
If you are non-urgent (as dictated by the legislation), we can have a telehealth appointment to discuss progress, self management, movement, embodiment and awareness practices.
I know that some of you will have a hard time over the next 5 weeks without your scheduled appointments, so please don't hesitate to contact me if you are concerned.
I will also be releasing some resources on the FaceBook page to help you in the interim.
Looking forawrd to working together in the capacity that we can :)
